About the event
Larkham and Hall are a Singer/Songwriter duo hailing from the marina in Bristol harbour. Displaying a flair for lyrics, story-songs and vocal harmonies, the husband and wife team often garner comparisons with songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell and Tom Waits, and draw influences from the same.
Playing Spanish-influenced guitar, harmonica and growling Tom Waits style vocals, Elliot Hall is a force of nature, having written over 2,000 songs on his remarkable journey from psychiatric ward to concert hall. Bristol Songwriter of the Year (2012) he is also the founder of Bristol's mental health music charity Mind Your Music (2003 - present) and has played music with the most marginalised groups in society.
