Alex and John have been ‘woodshedding’ this venture for over 9 months, digging into the music and developing new arrangements of a wide range of tunes ranging from John Coltrane to well known show tunes, film soundtracks and jazz standards. The set also includes some of Alex’s original compositions, and they are now ready to start performing this material live.
Alex Hutchings has been delighting audiences worldwide with his distinctive, heartfelt playing and technical brilliance. He is well known as one of the country’s best Jazz Fusion Guitarists, having performed with a wide variety of different musical ensembles, including world tours with Steven Wilson and appearing in Bristol and in London as part of James Morton’s main band.
